General Information

In addition to the general course session, we are offering attendees the opportunity to participate in either exercise sessions or didactic lectures during four separate concurrent sessions (please see the course schedule for a complete listing). The exercise sessions will be held at The Sports Club/LA-Boston, which is across the street from the Hyatt Regency. Here are some helpful hints that will maximize your participation in Active Doctors, Active Patients:

  • Select either exercise sessions or didactic lectures. Due to the hands-on nature of the exercise sessions, space is very limited and early registration is highly recommended.
  • Wear or bring comfortable work-out clothes if you opt for exercise sessions.
  • Bring a warm jacket or coat to wear when transferring to the exercise sessions. Boston weather in November is unpredictable.
  • Not interested in exercise sessions? Sign up for a didactic lecture during the concurrent sessions.

For answers to your questions or for additional information, call
(508-532-4230) or email Mary Alice Hanford, Course Administrator.

All prospective attendees should review the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and The Sports Club/LA-Boston Waiver of Liability prior to registering. Signed copies of these forms are required for attendees who sign up for any of the exercise class options offered at The Sports Club/LA-Boston while attending.

Course Location

The Active Doctors, Active Patients course will take place from November 12-14, 2010 in two primary locations: The Hyatt Regency Hotel and The The Sports Club/LA-Boston, both in Boston, MA.
